We have had a very very busy few weeks here. In fairness they wouldn't have counted as busy when we were working but now we are retired we take life far more slowly and it has been a month filled with activity of shows and travels and days out and community events and craft fairs and now - now we can relax.
Our last two events were the community lights switch on for the residents group we are part of. I had volunteered to read stories int he library, fully expecting to be very quiet. As it happened it was below freezing and I had lots of little children in - some listening to my Christmas stories better than others!!! But it was fun and a nice thing to do.
Yesterday saw my final craft fair. I have done A LOT this past few weeks and I am glad to be done. It looked nice yesterday all set up.
Now the house is all cleaned, the decorations are all up, the cards are all written and I am planning on relaxing
I have even scvrapped today - starting the 12 days of Christmas with scrap squad
yes of course there are to be lots of panda photos
I have also photos of the other animals we saw at Longleat (and still to come ... the amazing lights)
it was a bit grey and zero degrees so we felt lucky to see ANY animals out and about really
Today I am thankful for
- jobs well done
- time
- being home
