Thankfully we have had a haitus (I am told it will be brief) from the awful weather. Everywhere is so flooded and my heart breaks for the poor people whose homes have been flooded. The weather is far more dramatic than it used to be and building new houses on flood plains doesn't help. But it is the ordinary people who are suffering again. We are very fortunate
We have been out for some walks and even went to the theatre to see Fascinating Aida which was a great evening full of lots of very irreverent laughter.
I have new scrapping to share (some I can't share yet but I have been busy!) These are two pages made with Simple Stories Acorn Lane for A Trip Down Memory Lane
This one was from the same day but a poignant funny page. I picked up the two mismatched pumpkins and we both thought the same thing at the same time and so it just had to be done. If you can't laugh at cancer then you are doomed I think. They made the perfect analogy for my new body shape post cancer!!!
Today I am thankful for
- a productive few days
- being able to laugh in the face of adversity
