Well it has been fun and games here in our house.
We have both bought new computers - a lap top for Nigel and a desktop for me.
Bear in mind we both use them all day for work. They are essential tools for us and so changing has been - well a nightmare.
We are still not finished with buying new programs (some of the old software no longer works on an updated machine) reinstalling everything and re configuring it all to the way we like it.
It's a steep learning curve in so many aspects
I had to buy a new version of Photoshop but I have done my first page using it (took ages but I managed it )
In between the installs Nigel killed his brand new laptop. It was irretrievable. Totally killed. She had to do a complete factory reset and start his again from scratch. I felt so so sorry for him. He has sorted it but the last few days have been a bit rubbish. Well apart from yesterday which was fabulous. We went to meet my wonderful goddaughter and husband for a pre-Christmas celebration which was a lovely lovely day.
It is also my day to share a page as part of the Scrap a Sketch creative team
I also have some other scrapping to share which I made ages ago for a class for ATDML
Today I am thankful for
being more sorted on the computer than we were - baby steps
time with people we love
Congratulations on becoming more advanced in I.T. It seems as though it doesn’t take long these days to have a need for the most up-to-date and advanced technology to keep up. So sorry to hear that Nigel hit a bump right off, but glad it wasn’t too bad getting back on track. Are you using Photoshop 23 or something? My Photoshop Elements is so old, I can’t even remember its number! Lol!
Good to hear you are doing some pre-Christmas visiting. And please don’t tell me your home is already decked out for Christmas.
I have the box with my Christmas tree sitting in our tv room waiting patiently to be taken out and set up. I usually do that the evening of Thanksgiving, but have grossly failed at this point. Oh well, December hasn’t started yet. 😃
