We have enjoyed a quieter latter part of the week after the stress and energy of the past two and a half weeks.
Bedroom is done and we are loving it. It is so restful and serene - a real haven of peace.
We both ached everywhere due to all of the exertion. Nigel's back was awful and my knees had given out so quiet was perfect.
We did have a lovely morning today though as three sisters, all past pupils of mine, came over for a visit as I had made a crocheted jacket for the eldest girl who had just had a gorgeous little boy. It was really lovely to see these happy confident young women who wanted to visit an old teacher. Very special and a lovely morning.
Then Nigel toom me out for a late lunch which was lovely too.
There hasn't been much scrapping done this last week and so I have some older unshared pages to share
This was another class page made for A Trip Down Memory Lane last month
and so was this
and this was the third - all from the same kit.
Today I am thankful for
- rest and recoupperation
- past pupils - how special especially when it is a family and you have taught all three of them
- a meal out
and finally some cute coffee art
and some awful food ideas that simply should not be allowed ... whatever is wrong with traditional, washable, clean sanitised PLATES!!!
Some of the food presentations are interesting, some look as they couldn’t possibly fill up a person, and some are just plain scary!
