Isn't it wonderful when you discover something relatively near to home that you have never heard of. It's like being away on holiday and exploring somewhere new.
we had never even heard of old Waldour Castle but heard about it yesterday and so went to explore. The weather wasn't as nice as it predicted but it was dry and lovely to see somewhere we hadn't been before
The countryside is a glorious golden yellow at the moment filled with fields of rape seed.
I also have yet more scrapping to share
This is for my iconic America album - visiting Deadwood in South Dakotsa
Today I am thankful for
- a lovely day out to somewhere new
- chores done
- discovery of a new nail varnish I love
Oh my, the old castle looks as though it has been through a lot over the years. Nigel was very brave to go out to the end of that dock! It seems a bit rickety to me. I’m glad you two had an opportunity to see something new.
