We had a lovely - if long - day yesterday as we got together with family we don't see nearly often enough and they are people that mean a great deal to us both. We are quite spread out around the country so a meet up is more challenging but oh so worthwhile. And Anthony's 50th birthday was the perfect excuse and he had no idea so it was great to suprrise him.
I took a gazzillion photos but haven't sorted them yet - a lot will be rubbish but I figured if I just snapped away all day I would catch some good ones of everyone in one or two. We had a wonderful get together, a yummy BBQ, lots of laughs and great fun. Just a couple of photos to be going on with - and noone thought to take the photo of all of us until it was dark. Typical eh!

Today I am thankful for
- time with such special people. I am an only child and no longer have my beloved parents but these guys have been like my real family for so long and are such a blessing.
