Well what a terrific weekend that was - I loved every minute and the pageant yesterday was superb.
I am so pleased our queen knows how much she is loved, because my fear is we won't have her for much longer.
This was doing the rounds on facebook although no-one else was giving the artist credit ... but it sums it up.
The artist is Eleanor Thompson
and specifically for my American friends who may not even know who Paddington Bear is, this drawing is because of the wonderful sense of humour our Queen had making the opening for the Party at the Palace
I can't find the full video anywhere but the first 1 minute 38 of this gives you the idea
We both made the very most of the 4 day celebration and we both shed a tear at her appearance on the balcony at the end. We will never see the like again.
Today I have done some design team scrapping after de-bunting the house and walking on the beach.
My Design Team kit from A Trip Down Memory Lane was a selection of papers from Vikki Boutin Sweet Rush and as part of my role I am given these for free.
and finally
Today I am thankful for
- a fabulous weekend
- our Queen
- being British
