Well Gotcha day seems to have vanished so re-adding the pictures. It is a year exactly since we fetched the boys home. It was such a tense time as we were not sure if we would end up in lockdown and not be able to fetch them, if the tiers would change etc. So we left home at 5 am to drive 4 and a half hours to get them. Until I opened the basket in the car we had never really seen them and certainly never touched them. They were unhappy and so I took them both out and they snuggled and slept on my knee for the entire four hour trip back home. Then they hid. They were so nervous and it was such a huge change for them. What a long way we have come in those 12 months. Two tiny timid boys who now are so happy and so loving - the best cats we could ever have dreamed of having.

Today I am thankful for
- finding he boys - it was pure chance
- bringing our boyz home
- getting through a very challenging first year
- having such good, loving, calm boys to share our lives
It was meant to be--finding the kittens, picking them up before a lockdown occurred, helping them settle in so well because of the loving care and thoughtful planning of their adoptive parents, and persevering through great fear and worry when contaminated food was discovered. Mommy and Daddy were strong, proactive, and alert to get their sweet babies through the tragic time.
That was a bit to go through the first year!
May 2022 be a better year for all humans, animals, climate, and scrapbooking! :-)
