The good news is that we are fully boosted. Nigel had his jab booked for today and mine was booked for next Friday. They did us both today so that was a good result.
The falling over on our daily walk was not such good news and I can't even blame the jab as it was before. I just mis-stepped and went down hard and I have hurt both wrists, which broke the fall and my knee and ankle. Stupid stupid stupid.
I had a bit of a battle too with my silhouette because the blade appears to have gone bad. New one ordered but I ended up cutting a lot of my files today with a knife!
The files were needed as I have been playing along with the Peartree Crop which is always fun.
These are the only two pages I have managed today
and this which was a challenge to use paper folding - origami cats. Who knew?
I have also made several digital pages but they are for next week's release so I can't share them yet.
Clocks go back tonight so I am sure that will mess the boys up and they will be awake at the crack of dawn because they will assume it is light therefore it must be breakfast!
Today I am thankful for
- being booster jabbed
- the lovely doctor at the pharmacy who has done all 3 of my jabs
- not hurting myself worse when I fell
and I share these which are sadly very worrying
Wow! The final images are seriously scary. I am sucked into screen-time too much, I fear.
I am so sorry to read that you fell and hurt yourself so badly. I hope you heal up quickly.
You are really dedicated to go ahead and fussy-cut your embellishments--with a knife, no less, when you've been so wounded.
Good luck with the time change. I always hate messing with the clocks twice a year. Mine turn back on this coming Sunday. It is so wonderful to be retired then I don't have to worry about how gaining or losing time affects my energy level. ;-)
I'm already thinking starting my Christmas decorating!! I have a lot of Santas to put out--and a lot cleaning to do as I go along. Yes, it will take the whole month to get it done.
