August - they said. It's summer they said. Really.
It's cool and very very wet and dark and thoroughly miserable. Which is a great shame as Nigel's brother and family are down and we met them at Furzey today and it was a bit drizzly then it started to rain and it was pretty grim. Hey ho - we still had a nice visit, a bit of a walk and time to chat. The outside cafe didn't hold a lot of appeal in the rain and photos were 'interesting' but I stall managed. And the dark and wet did make for nice contrast

There were few of the fary doors in evidence as quite a bit was shut off or being repaired, but there were a few doors here

It was nice to see everyone, but nice to get back in the dry too.
