It has been a lovely day today - both weather wise and activity wise.
I had an 8.30 dentist appointment which meant we were at the beach by 9 before it got busy which was fab. It was gorgeous down there - we don't very often go in the summer as it is so busy
and who says you can't have icecream for breakfast
We had a lovely walk, popped into town to get a few things and bought my first sunflowers of the season - it's almost Autumn - I am excited.
Yesterday we went to see the World War 2 on the Quay event - it had been postponed last year due to Covid and was the 75th anniversary celebration. It wasn't as good as we anticipated, there wasn't much to see (not as good as the usual Vintage ont he Quay) the weather was iffy and we couldn't bear the crowds. We hadn't been in a large crowd for 18 months and we didn't like it so stayed for very very little time.
I have some new scrapping to share too
Most of them use Peartree cut files and are for their first birthday challenges #ptcffirstbirthdaychallenges
Today I am thankful for
- a lovely beachy morning
- a bargain for paint storage
- the boys still well so far (day 61 now ... we have to get to about day 80)
