I guess we have been lucky so far throughout the pandemic but Nigel was 'pinged on Monday night. He had been near someone who tested positive and so has to isolate. Of course it was speedway - I knew it. We did lateral flow tests which were negative and today he had a PCR test which we are sure will be negative too. He wasn't told until almost a week after the contact which seems a bit daft as he did all sorts since last Wednesday, but heck. He is being a good boy and isolating from everyone except me.
So it's been quiet here.
yesterday I was stewarding at the art exhibition and I haven't shared photos of my work on here so here it comes. I have my own wall and 14 paintings exhibited which I am jolly proud of (the cabinet is also full of my stuff)
I also have a mess of scrapping the share. It has been a big summer of challenges and so I have been scrapping A LOT
This one was very different for me with brights and mixed media
I have worked hard to try and restore my poor nails- drinking horrible marine collagen
I used glitter on this - Lord I hate glitter - the devil's dandruff!
I have more but I think that is enough photo overload today. And just because I am bored doesn't mean everyone else is.
Today I am thankful for
- our lateral flow tests being negative
- Nigel having no symptoms - fingers crossed it stays that way
- my wound slowly healing though I have the worst ever reaction to a dressing. The site where the supposed hypoallergenic dressing was is covered in burns and blisters, raised red and angry. It's incredibly painful. It seems I get a worse reaction every time. This is the worst I have ever had.
