A whole new kitchen

Well it's been quite a year here at Koda and Indy's house and they have NOT liked it. Lots of shut doors, strange men, strange smells and banging nd drilling and sawing and just general stress stuff for them. Plus a Mummy who was very stressed over the whole things.

BUT

 

The new kitchen is finished - well apart from a few bits we have to paint like the strut of the breakfast bar and the new flooring which we cannot pick until the stores re-open in April. But we are pleased with it. MK Interiors did a great job.

We are all glad it is over and love the new bright light kitchen

 

I have been scrapping for A Trip Down Memory Lane as part of my DT work. I was sent some gorgeous papers from the PinkFresh Studios Some Days collection

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Today I am thankful for

• a completed kitchen
• no workmen other than Nigel
• scrapping time
• our home - more than just the bricks and walls - it is we 4!

You will have to forgive me, but if you had not said the first pictures were the "old" kitchen, I would have guessed that was the remodel! LOL! Very pretty.
But the light, bright kitchen looks so nice now.
I love all the cupboards, counter space, and the huge light-filled windows! Gorgeous.
What kind of floors do you think you want?

Have you had your second vaccine? I noticed you got your first one on the same day Steve got his, and he had his second shot last week.
I just feel so relieved we had both of the series. My son and d-i-l are just beginning their vaccinations.

Are your little boys staying healthy? Hope they have recovered from the trauma of strangers and noise in the house. It is nerve-racking.

I thought that your kitchen units that you replaced were really nice ! If you had changed the worktops,that you didn’t like,and replaced the tiles with lighter ones,it would all have looked brand new!
We used to have the white units,and they got replaced with the light wooden ones,but they aren’t as nice as the units you replaced!
