We were up early to have the boys at the vets for 8.30 for their operation.
However, we had missed a phonecall and an e mail message to tell us the op was cancelled. Sadly one of the vets has tested positive for Covid and so they are short staffed and non urgents were cancelled quite understandably. I was pleased because it was a little earlier than I had wanted and another few weeks is good. I feel so sorry for the vets. They have been open right through this dreadful pandemic and have been there whenever we need them. I hope whoever it is has a mild dose and recovers quickly.
As a result we were up and so we went to but some fresh baked bread frot he farm shop and an early walk which was lovely.
It is also new release day at Pickleberrypop and I have been working with three of the new collections - and full transparency - I am given these collections to work with as part of the creative team. I am legally obliged to tell you that! The picture of the collection is, as always, the link
It was such a fun collection to play with
This was in part for a challenge to write about two opposite features of yourself like things you love, things you hate. I have been very reflective recently and this page kind of sums things up - the two different me sides. I hope it is big enough to read.
I used the template and also one of Faye's collections called Let Life Bloom for this page of Indy
Today I am thankful for
- the vet surgery being wonderful and always being here
- our boys staying 'in tact' for a little longer
- a lovely walk
Love the layout of Indy with the rays. Such a nice way to be able to use patterned papers. And such a handsome subject. :-)
Karen your "opposites" could have been written by me! Do you suppose every retiree can say the same things? I know Steve used to wear a necktie and sports jacket every day to work. Since his retirement, he has been known to wear a bolo tie and wool shirt (untucked) for high-class dressing. LOL!
