I have had fun this morning making a different sort of page.
Cal Summers, who owns Paper, Scissors, Story does the most amazing classes and this month has teamed up with FTLOPP for a great challenge making a different sort of mini book each week.
This week was a waterfall fold mini to use on a scrapbook page and I had such fun.
This is the completed page
It seemed so apt to use a waterfall book on a waterfall page and I had way way too many photos of the falls from when we stayed there ina room looking right over the falls.
This is it open and then there should be a video - yes a video!!! - of how it opens.
This is the second class of the month and I haven't shared what I made for last week's class so here you are - a very simple tri-fold book
Today I am thankful for
- a wonderful class to play with
- a great dentist - she rang me back last night, I now have another course of antibiotics and a new appointment for late August. It seems the infection may be back and I have pain again and a horrible metalic taste in my mouth. But she is so kind and has me sorted
- a cooler day - still very muggy but not so blistering hot and there is a rumour we may get rain (more than the 15 minutes we had yesterday!
Wow! What impressive mini-albums. I have done layouts with a stack of photos linked so each photo is lifted one at a time. But I have never done one that MOVES!! That is so cool. And it keeps you from having to make 12 layouts about one event. I think interactive pages are super cool. I did go to the YouTube channel to watch your video. So nice to be able to see the whole thing in action. Then I watched the following video of your Route 66 mini album. I remember viewing that before, but the album is so delicious, I couldn't pass up seeing it again.
I love the mini that looks like a brochure as well.
Your scrapping is such perfection. Pictures are always placed just right, colors and embellishments truly enhance the pages, the littlest details such as inking an edge or stitching or tiny drawings or your own handwriting used in the journaling just knock my socks off!
Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful photos, pages, and albums.
I'm glad you have received a bit of relief from the heatwave, but sorry to hear your mouth is feeling rough again. I pray another round of antibiotics will knock it right out of your system.
You and Nigel have a great weekend.
