Lovely painting It would make a great cross stitch design.

Lovely bird. Can you tell a big difference between a professional set of watercolors versus one that might be used in school? I've always thought watercolor paint is watercolor paint. Would you say it's as different as a symphony orchestra compared to the high school band? :-)
When your town gets reports about bad weather coming, does everyone rush out to the stores to stock up on food, milk, flashlight batteries, fill the auto tanks with gas, etc?
I still have that habit from childhood. We lived out in the country and would occasionally get snowed-in on our gravel road. So if we heard a winter storm was coming, mom would get to the grocery store and dad would check all the flashlights as well as fill up the car and truck tanks with gasoline.
These days, if I hear a winter storm is coming, even though I live in town, I still get to the store to get items we are low on, so I won't have to go out of the house before the snowplows have made their rounds. :-D
A habit Steve and I learned in Alaska is to never let the gas tank go below half a tank. So Steve watches that pretty closely, filling up when necessary. We follow that "rule" even in the summertime.
