The weather has been utter rubbish today - utter rubbish. Poor Nigel had to go out to work and I had to stay in to work. But heck - it's what pays for the holidays.
I did pop out to Hobbycraft as I seem to have lost my cable needle and I have just started knitting a long waistcoat. Actually I have just started re-knitting. I bought some gorgeous wool two years ago and made almost a complete cardigan but as I was ont he last sleeve I realised I loved the wool but NOT the cardigan so it sat unfinished. Last night I unpicked it all and bought a pattern I do like. Hopefully this one I will finish. I also bought a few balls of other wool. ooops. Knotting and crochet appear to be my new obsession.
Other than that I have been doing admin work for UKS for next year - lots of fun in store. Plus I have been doing DT work for both ATDML and Pickleberrypop.
It's a digital day today with some gorgeous new releases.
I made this page with WHITE HOLIDAY by TirAmisu design
- being in the warm and dry for most of the day
- scrapping time
- challenges set for next year
I think the blue background highlights the photographs much better, but both are good.

Of course, I love love love blue. :-)
So I lean toward favoring the blue background.
Oh, gosh, Karen. We are such "twins."
When I was in high school, I learned to knit in Girl Scouts.
Never could do anything more than knit/purl. No fancy stitches or patterns. I had a simple pattern for a pullover sweater. I got the
whole thing completed except for ONE sleeve. I could not motivate
myself to finish. I never really spent much time doing anymore knitting
after that. In 1999, my son asked for a Tom Baker Dr. Who scarf. So
I spent lots of December nights working on it. Fun project. :-)
