We tackled the back garden yesterday and I fear it may have been a little more than anticipated.
I confess we don't like gardening and it is like fighting a losing battle to stop the heath reclaiming what it rightfully hers and so the back does tend to get left. But we did it - in one day (apart from the lawn which will be at the weekend) We now have a rockery again (you couldn't really see it before), two paths that had vanished and proper beds where you can see soil instead of weeds and pine needles. We were filthy and I am apparently bitten all over but heck - the view is nice from the window now.
I have new scrapping to share.
This had to be one of the prettiest beaches we have ever visited - Hollywood Beach in Florida. It was deserted and stunning and I used Natali Designs new collection A Day at the Beach to make this page.
And this is using a new collection of foundations regular frames which are awesome by Fayette Designs
I have also carried on with our daily pages for the digital fabulous Fall album. I can't remember which I have shared so huge apologies if you have seen the first two before, but heck, I am just proud I am cracking on with this. I need to get it done before my photobox credit runs out.
They are all double pages with the left side first in each case and they are just a photographic record and journalling notes - not meant to be stunning pages of art!
I will carry on with that today.
I have new paper scrapping too but I can't share that - but I am really pleased with it. It is for the upcoming Cyber Crop weekend at A Trip Down Memory lane - watch out for that
I can share this one with a gorgeous Paige Evans cut file though
Today I am thankful for
- a nice garden to look out on
- not aching as much as I thought I might
- gorgeous class kits from ATDML
and last but by no means least I have to share this clip with you
The link is tested and tustedbut this is the only way I could copy it. It is a clip taken from a programme we loved called Years and Years and is a very tellingr eminder that we only have ourselves to blame. I do hope you watch it.
