Yesterday we went to see A Star is Born. I have very mixed feelings about it. There were parts I liked and parts I didn't. I didn't feel great empathy with Bradley Cooper. I thought Lady Gaga was superb and it showcased her natural beauty (we see that too rarely) and her amazing voice. I hadn't seen any of the previous versions but it was watchable but I didn't give it more than 3 stars
I made the page below for a challenge on UKS and figured I needed to balance the digital with some real life paper scrapping. I am loving scrapping these old photos and am being very good and scrapping the originals not scans and prints.
Last night was reasonably traumatic. We had a call at 1.20 fromt he hospital tosay Elfin had gone out at night, fallen over, broken her hip and was in hospital. Nigel rushed down so we have had zero sleep today. We have been dashing back and forth sorting stuff out and we hope she will have an operation today. I can't really say too much more about it as we are still processing what has happened.
Onto Digital scrapping....
There were so many great collections released for DSD that I had to do two posts.
Here are some more of the great kits I worked with
Wings of Love by Aurelie Scraps was beautiful
I loved the templates by Heather T and also used the SpooctacularKit by Lorie M
and this was Happy Fall by Pavlinks Designs
Today I am thankful that
- it was just ... I don't mean to trivialise it but you know what I mean - a broken hip
- our wonderful emergency services and the NHS
