WOW! You and Nigel really worked hard! But it sure looks tidy now. :-)

I love my Epson printer. The first one I had ended up making blotches and streaks on the paper, too, after a ton of service to my craft. I had to end up buying a new one. There comes a time, when the ink waste pan (or whatever it is) gets too full. Steve and I could never figure out how to change it or empty it. I don't think I would ever go with any other brand.

Do you use a 12x12 printer or an 8.5x11? I have the smaller size, so I found it on sale for less than $100. I hope you do not have any problem returning the HP.

I have an Epson printer which also started dropping blobs of black ink on photos. I found a small puddle under the place where the printer head rests when not in use, and mopping that up cleared the problem. Could yours have a similar puddle?
