Today we were up and at 'em at the crack of dawn (well 8.30 ... crack of dawn for us these days)
We dashed round our calls, fighting the traffic all the way to complete half of our allocated jobs before going round to be with Nigel's Mom as his brother was returning home today. We took her out on calls with us which she enjoyed as it was a nice drive. But oh my, the traffic is insane especially round Bournemouth. What is Bournemouth's main industry? Tourism. When is the main tourist season.NOW! So it is now they decide to cut off huge swathes of the town including across the sea front to do lots of road work. Absolutely insane.
Almost as insane as Prudential. Oh yes - I have done battle with them through another 4 phonecalls since my last rank and they are now following up a formal complain and they say if it is not resolved it will go to the Financial Ombudsman. Believe me, it WILL go that far.
However, the sun has shone all day and life is good even with the Prudential.
Dawn has a new release out today called The Weather Forecast Bundle and I had fun playing with it
And a heads up to anyone scrappy inclined (I am guessing most of the people who read this blog apart from family and friends who come for the 'other stuff') UKS are hosting a challenge day on 5th May for National Scrapbooking Day, so it is time to go over there and check it out. If you don't belong to the forum, join. It's great fun and Sue and I have some fiendishly good challenges for you, follow THIS link
plus I will be hosting a twisted scraplift challenge in May and June on there. THIS is the link
Barb it was so lovely to hear from you xx
Today I am thankful for
- battles over for the time being. Current score Prudential 1, me 0
- sunshine
- a productive day
