My goodness! Your salt mine tour sounded and looked incredible. I've often heard the phrase "back to the salt mines," which referred to getting back to a job that was not pleasing or a pleasant task. Were the salt mines at one time a place where criminals and prisoners had to work? A type of torturous punishment for such persons? I do not know much about any history concerning Poland in ancient days.

What a worry when weather interferes with travel. I am very thankful you didn't have to sit in a small plane on the tarmac for seven or eight hours, as many here in America end up doing during storms.

Thank you for sharing your memorable trip and beautiful layouts. So glad you made it safely home, with your furbabies in tow. Now, rest!
