Two things, Karen: You mentioned you couldn't stand the blue lights at Christmastime. I'm sure you learned that Elvis lined his driveway with blue lights in Memphis during Christmastime. He had seen it done in California and loved it so much that he started it at his home as a tradition. There is something about blue lights at Christmas that just awes me. Maybe it makes me think of a silent night in Bethlehem many years ago-- the color makes me feel so peaceful.
And you also mentioned Victoria Fillet as your favorite at Outback. Whenever Steve and I go there, I always get the Victoria fillet. Yum, Yum, Yum!! I like mine extra well done-- sometimes I tell the server to make sure it is "crispy"! LOL!
I adore log cabin homes (not the kind in the wilderness of Alaska w/o running water or central heat or indoor bathrooms)-- but the kind with all the modern amenities. I always wanted to live in one. But they are quite out of my budget, and a log cabin in Minnesota seems a bit out of place to me. ;-) I loved seeing your photos of the Wilderness Lodge at Disney.
Okay, I guess that was three things. :-D :-D :-D
