Oh, my goodness! What an amazing experience to ride the riverboat. You were at the huge wide mouth of the Mighty Mississippi! What a once-in-a-lifetime memory you made. There is nothing like a slow cruise on a river--especially on a beautiful day.

Now, when you and Nigel decide to make you upper midwest tour one day, you will have to visit Bimidji, Minnesota and go to the Itasca State Park where you can WALK across the Mississippi River. :-D That's a true memory maker, too.
