Nigel was at work this morning but this afternoon we went to the cinema to see Home Again. It wasn't a remarkable film but was a very enjoyable way to spend a couple of hours. It was everything a good romantic comedy should be.
I have to say we are loving our cinema membership.
I have also been scrapping and made this page for the mojo challenge on Pickleberrypop - do check out their challenges - they are fabulous and this one was a great fun one to play with. You can find the challenges here
Dawn has special offers on for today only and they are just in time for halloween however you celebrate it.
Petrified Kit Petrified Extra Loot & Overlays Petrified Characters and Petrified Pumpkin Patch
I made two very different pages with them. One was of the first ever pumpkin we carved ... Disney of course ... oh and cats!
The second page seems apt as the papers are full of news of the giant spiders invading houses at the moment. Apparently it has been a very good year for spiders and so they are larger than ever as they seek inside to mate. Oh joy! Hopefully they won't be as big as this one as I am a serious arachnaphobe - however this tarantula was more like holding a small mammal as he was furry. I seriously couldn't hold a house spider for love nor money.
The picture was taken on a school trip to Longleat and I got one of the pupils to take the picture. I was trying to be brave for the children but did say tot he girls with my camera - 'take it quickly - I will not be holding it for long!' She did a great job!
Today I am thankful for
- a good film to watch
- scrapping time.
I'm totally with you on house spiders, we've had some huge ones here. I think it's the speed at which they cross the room to terrorise me. As tarantulas are pretty slow I do feel they are less scarey...although I've never got so close to one as you!
