Today was one of those sort of evolving days - no plans but they happened.
We were out early. Nigel had a routine blood test and Poole Park was empty when we parked to drink our fraps. Never seen the park so quiet.
We stopped on evening hill too and it was just glorious - -such a beautiful day and the full expanse of the harbour looking just gorgeous with Brownsea in the middle, the Purbecks behind and even Old Harry visible.
We had to be home for an appointment at lunchtime and then we headed off to the other direction.
We enjoyed a walk at Mudeford, a trip round the holiday park and then a late lunch at Prezzo in Christchurch. Followed by some retail therapy - largely for the cats - what's not to like. #happylife #happyretirement
Dawn has a lovely new collection out today that is perfect as we start into Autumn .. called Little Acorns
and I couldn't resist using it for these photos of Stourhead
Autumn has arrived at home too
Today I am thankful for
- Autumn sunshine
- sea and sand
- days that evolve
and I know lots of you enjoyed the church signs - these tickled me - vet signs!
Lovely day!
