No blogging yesterday - I was out of it
Turns out the pain - which built to fever pitch and became totally intolerable - was an infected root that caused the flare up of the TMJ that caused the problems.
The pain is now almost under control and is located in one very specific area. I have added stronger antibiotics to my drug cocktail and expect to have the nerve removed int he tooth next week, providing the infection has subsided.
Yesterday was a lost day due to not only pain but the nausea caused by the potent cocktail of medication that made me feel so poorly.
I have laid off the strongest today in the hope I may be able to stay upright for more than an hour. So far so good.
I do have scrapping to share - still from the PBP birthday Lolly Bag treats - this time by Fayette and it is showcasing one of my friend's beautiful daughters.
Today I am thankful for
- being in less pain
- knowing what the problem is
- an altogether more peaceful day
Well, I'm so glad you got to the "root" of your problem. At least, now the dentist will know how to move forward. You are one brave, strong woman to have gone through all that. And really, being retired is the best time for this to happen. You don't have to stress over missing school or if things are going well at the school because of your absence. Or even worse-- going to school and trying to get through the day with the pain or a drug-induced fog!!!
YAY for resting, less pain, and knowing that it CAN be fixed :-) {{{Hugs}}}
