What an amazing trip! A perfect length of time, and so much done in a short time. Such a gorgeous layout, too. I love the blues and greens.
I was in Amsterdam back in 1970-- only one night. I remember the group I was touring with took a canal trip, visited a church (I don't know what made the church so special that we made a stop there), and saw loads of "hippies". I think our group was pretty well sheltered from seeing anything too distasteful. ;-)
I saw a few windmills from the bus--- they were about a mile away, and we were zipping right along. Point and shoot cameras back in those days didn't have any way to zoom in. :-( So I think I have a photo of one that was the size of a baby tick on a 4x6. LOL!!!
Thanks for sharing your trip. I really enjoy hearing about what you two see and learn. :-) Of course, your travel photos are the cherry on top.
