Barb in AK

I'm really enjoying the pages from Nigel's album.
Now, I'm going to ask a technical question... I assume the older photos of Nigel are scans of original photos. Did you find lots of dust, scratches, and such on the scans? I have been working on a photobook for my mom. The older photos have TONS of dust, scratches, fading, edge discoloring, etc. I have to do a LOT of photoshopping to get them in decent shape for the book. It's very intense and tiring, to boot! What did you do to get the photos ready for your layouts and the photobook? Thanks!
