Today has been a catch up day ... catching up on school work, house work and craft work. I can';t complain - I have had an amazing week off. It had to be done.
I did catch up on the weekly challenge on UKS though - scrapping a page from this week's holiday - our day at Sherbourne Castle.
I used a Tim Holtz stencil and some mists I almost never ever use at the bottom to bring out the colour.
I also used some Prima leaves that have to be 10 years old. I need to give up work and spend time using some of the stuff I have!
We had the final celebration of Nigel's birthday week last night - yes a whole week, but then you only get to be 60 once. We went out to one of our favourite restaurants right ont eh beach with his mother and both of his brothers including the one over from America, and my lovely sister in law. It was lush food and a really nice night. The end to a wonderful week of celebrations for the most special man nt he world. OK so I may be a bit biased.
Today I am thankful for
- catching up on things
- some scrapping
- a wonderful week off work
