The forecast for last night and today was dreadful.
I have never seen the wind speed predicted so high so we prepared to have carnage when we woke up.
However, although there were huge gusts at times, no prolonged winds and today, whilst blustery, has been wall to wall sunshine and very beautiful.
I decided that today I would craft for ME - nothing for sale, just stuff for me.
So here we go - my page for the weekly challenge on UKS
It felt good to paper scrap - it's been a while
The letters are things I have had for years and never ever used. New Easter resolution ... use stuff!
Nij took the picture on his phone a couple of weeks ago when Fiki was chillaxing in bed with us. Boy does that cat know how to relax!
Today I am thankful for
- a lovely scrappy day
- sunshine
- tidiness
Glad to hear you had no damage from your high winds. We had wind last night, too, but didn't know it was forecast. It came as a complete surprise. It was simply blowing in some warmer temps! YAY!
Love the title "chillax"... I had never heard that word until I watched "Twilight", but I guess it's been around for quite awhile. I'm really out of the loop with the younger generations ;-)
Now tell me the truth-- how long did it take you to create that "real" paper layout? It would take me DAYS!!!
