Happy Christmas Eve and we hope that all of our friends and family have a wonderful day tomorrow celebrating on such a special day.
It has been a glorious day here and we dragged ourselves out of our sick bed to go out and soak up some sunshine.
I have a bad cold - again - and Nigel has what I think may be flu and he is quite rough today. However, we are NOT going to let it spoil Chorstmas.
There was no post yesterday as we were at the funeral of a very dear friend. It was a beautiful send off and lovely to catch up with everyone, even though under such sad circumstances. She would have loved that!
I must share Nigel's finished Christmas cake - I can't wait to cut it and we may have to today!
Fiki has been sitting under the tree all too often - but I think he is too old to climb it now. Well I hope so as he would bring it down in a heartbeat.
I have a new page to share made with a collection by Fayette called Party People
and a page to say we celebrate New Year by staying in!
I have a couple of videos to share with you today
The first is from Mike in Florida and what a craftsman is showcased in this video - well worth watching to the end
and this one from my wonderful cousin Joyce. A suitable reminder for today and for tomorrow. I used in school on our final day too.
Today I am thanlful for
- only having colds ... so many are so much worse
- that tiny babe born to save us all
Merry Christmas everyone xxx
