I'm back - finally

It's been a very long very hard six or seven weeks.

I am sorry I have not been blogging - I have been too exhausted to do anything other than just survive really.

I seem to have been ill for so long - nothing major just fairly constant tummy ache, nausea and then a rubbish cold. Plus so very very tired it really beggars belief. I even had Nigel saying maybe I should go tot he doctors as I was abnormally exhausted and he suspected soemthing like glandular fever or ME.

BUT

I broke up from school yesterday and I felt some of the stress lift the instant I walked in through the front door.

 

And I walked in to this ... I really do have the best husband in the world.

 

The last thing I wanted to do when I got in was go out - but there was a party we had promised to go to.

It was a rock stars and divas party and so we got ourselves blinged up.

 

I went with Alice Cooper (Nigel's idol!)

 

 

He looked fab (though I wouldn't let him shave his beard off for just one night)

 

I went as a 70's groupie (as I really hadn't had the time to think of anything else and I had the stuff)

 

 

I look a bit shiny as I had a LOT of glitter on my face (and it reflected)

 

 

 

 

 

Everyone had made such an amazing effort

just amazing outfits

 

Although I didn't want to go it was good fun - although we were lightweights and home by 10 ... how sad are we!

 

Normal blogging service resumed now...

 

Scrapping to share tomorrow.

 

Today I am thankful for

• getting to the end of term
• holidays

You survived!! Never will a holiday seem so good as this one, I'm sure :-)
Karen, you just didn't look like you at all in those photos ;-) and if Nigel had shaved his beard, I wouldn't have recognized him, either! The costumes were wonderful!
