Nigel was at teh hospital today for his CT scan.
They say the NHS is free in this country and I guess it is ... kind of.
The CT Scan was on the NHS so should not have cost us money.
However it turned out to be quite expensive.
There is a reason....
The parking at Bournemouth hospital is poor, plus I am not sure I didn't catch my tummy bug at the hosptial last time.
Consequently we agreed I would drop Nigel off and then collect him when done. Mmmm .... what to do in the wait time. Well, it was too far to go home and back so I really had no alternative at all but to go to Castle Point shopping centre. I mean - what else was a girl to do.
And there were a lot of clothes shops there. And I had a credit card and I was bored!
I thiink it is safe to say at least one of us had fun today!
Before crafting here is my view this morning. Nothing better than a lit in with my two fur babies intertwined. Kirsty gave me the perfect title for this - Yin and Yang
And some scrapping
One of the benefits of flying Upper Class is you are soooo c lose to the cockpit. This year the two pilots were awesome and we were invited just the couple of rows forward to go and visit them as they did their pre-flight checks.
They were great and invited us to sit down and chat.
We snapped a couple of pics - they were really very welcoming.
It's purple because that is the Virgin Atlantic colour. Well that and red - but purple is the colour of the interior and the luggage labels and so on.
We are about to have our thanksgiving dinner this evening and remember all the things we are thankful for.
What a fantastic picture of your cats. Hope all is well with Nigel.
