After basking in the sunshine for way longer than we ought to have done, there is a genuine nip in the air today. Heating on, furry slippers on. It's starting to feel a bit like winter.
I am quite glad really - I LIKE winter!
I have a new page to share today made over half term.
I plan a separate album for just rides and attractions rather than general Disney pages and so this is a page for that album.
This was inspired by a set of Jolees stickers I have had for somewhere in the region of 10 years.
I used them at last
Pirates is one of our favourite rides and we love the update with Johnny Depp now.
Sticker 1 is the pirate ship
The parchment background is actually the back of a map we were given to do a pirates treasure hunt. It was for kids really but I really wanted a map
I also made use of the scraps for mounting and journalling. Gotta love that parchment effect.
Today I am thankful for
- new systems going reasonably smoothly
I so love that parchment accent throughout the layout. It's a perfect accent. Jolee's-- yippeeee! I try to replicate ideas from their stickers, but always miss the mark ;-) Nothing like 'em! Thanks for sharing.

We also loved the Pirates ride at Euro-Disney. We went on it several times while we were there, despite the very dark entrance, where I couldn't see anything (and tripped over some of the scenery in the dark!). We loved the bit where the boat rushes down and splashes into the pool.
We also had dinner in the restaurant that is next to the "river" that the ride uses - it was fun to watch boat-loads of people sailing by.
Nice page - the embellishments are good fun.
