Today has been busy with lots of routine things.
We slept late after the balla s it was a late night for us - we are real light-weights these days.
The ball was super -a really nice evening. It was great food, great company and a good time. The wine helped the pain fade into the background, though I confess I really didn't feel fab.
We did have a couple of pics with us all poshed up
There had to be a selfie!
Plus we had these two - not great but they are a memory
and I even blinged up my dressing ... if you've got it, flaunt it.
And it gives you an idea of the size ... and yes - under the centre bit is all scar.
It has started to turn a shade od yellow and purple now as there is qute significant bruising coming out ... and today has been a bad bad day for pain, possibly as I did far too much yesterday.
When we finally roused ourselves we went shopping for bits and pieces like food, fraps and holiday clothes for Nigel. He then did the unthinkable and sorted his wardrobe out! Big job but so worth doing.
I have a new page to share today
I made it at half term and it is another page for my 10 album
I have to say my 10 album is one of my favourites as it covers so many things. There are 10s of holidays, cats, home etc. It is very varied. So there had to be a Bruges 10
I printed the photo a full A4 and then stuck letters on for the number 10 - the amazing memories was printed on
Today I am thankful for
- Saturday's
- Nice people to party with
- a cool breeze as it is awfully hot and humid
And I cannot resist these
Hi Karen - sorry to hear you are having pain but it will subside. It's a sign of healing. You and Nigel look smashing in your evening wear. I can't wait to see you two in July. Take care and rest a bit - Mike

Love the touches of orange on the layout. It really brings out the color of the roofs! I very seldom use orange, but I do like it :-)
Three cheers for Nigel purging his wardrobe! I'd probably drop into a dead faint, if Steve ever did such a thing!
LOVE the word-play pictures (I'm glad the answers were right there on each view) :-)
Now, take care and rest well. Praying your pain subsides very soon.
