Puzzles

A few days ago Jakki sent me a link to  a jigsaw ap and we have both been pretty much addicted. Thank goodness it is the holiday. 

Today however Nij and I did a real jigsaw. we have always loved doing them and this was fun. Although it was 1000 pieces it was actually a very simple one to complete. We have some real tough ones we have done.

You know, I never had much interest in jigsaw puzzles, then my mom moved into a senior residence. There was always a huge jigsaw going on in the lobby of that place. At times when I would visit, I'd find her at the jigsaw table and I would join her. Now mom is in memory care and often when I visit, she is sitting at the jigsaw puzzle table of that unit. I love to sit and put the puzzle together with her and other residents who are fitting the pieces together. I have a whole new attitude about the puzzles now, as they are something that helps connect my mom and me :-) It's always more fun to complete those puzzles with someone you love :-)
