It's been a day of finishing things today -w hich is always good.
It began beautifully as we went out for breakfast. Just before we went out I looked out of the window and our nyger seed feeder was full. There were 4 tiny girds we had never seen before perched on the four posts. We watched them carefully and even got the binolulars out and then looked them up and they were goldfinches and beautiful they were too
Breakfast was wonderful - Premier Inn - love it. I think I could be addicted to their granola, fruit compote and yoghurt.
The day was meant to be really sunny so I planned to spend it prone in the garden as Nigel was out all day at Speedway, but it never happened. Hot but not bright.
So I finished some school work, finished a mini book and finished some DT work. A day well spent.
I have a new page to share today which is another for the annual 2013 album. We have done so much this summer that this is going to be a bumper album.
It records the lunchtime treat we enjoyed on Friday in Salisbury. The street performer was so good he deserved his own page.
Today I am thankful for
- a lovely gentle day
- the birds that bring us such joy
- breakfast
and I have some fab new photos to share from my friend Sara. Sara takes incredible pictures herself and whilst these are not hers I get such fab photo emails from her.
I hope you enjoy them. There will be more tomorrow and Wednesday too.

Oh wow, your stitching is so perfect! Did you sew the little beads onto your flowers, or just secure them with glue? These kind of little details really make your layouts so special! :-)
