It’s been hot hot today – but glorious.
I was sat beside a pool for quite a lot of the morning. Would have been nicer to have been able to go IN the pool, but I have to admit it was very nice to be outside and soak up some of the lovely sunshine.
Life is very hectic at the moment and will continue to be so for the next week. But after that I am planning on doing some proper proper scrapping. You know, whole day efforts not just snatched moments.
IU am really glad that several years ago I discovered digital scrapping as when life is this hectic it is much easier to sit with the laptop when I do finally stop rather than isolate myself in the scrap room and get everything out.
I would never give up my paper scrapping, but neither would I give up my digital scrapping.
I love them both.
Today I have digital scrapping to share which is a page I made using some glorious goodies by Laura Burger.
Her distressed edge masks and her photo masks are superb and on sale at PBP right now. I also used her Brighton kit.
The photo is of Elinor and her Daddy exploring together and I just love the picture. I have a whole series of them which I plan to use together, but I was keen to use one straight away.
Today I am thankful for
- Sunshine
- Um…. Struggling a bit so I will say technology as it enables me to share photos of family a long way away.
Now I shared a couple of these yesterday and I have some more today.
They are native to rain-forests of Brazil , Peru , Bolivia , Ecuador and Colombia . (Source: Buzzle)
Finger monkeys are, as a matter of fact, pygmy marmosets.
They are also known by the names "pocket monkey" and "tiny lion".
This cute little primate hugs and grips on to your finger so tight that it pulls your heartstrings, and you wish you could
take it home with you.
The finger monkey is the tiniest living primate in the world.
It's so small that it can hold on to your finger.
I'm baaaack! Hi Karen! I've just returned from a 10-day trip out to Colorado to visit family. Then one of my online scrappin' girl friends picked me up, and we joined 12 other ladies to scrapbook. We have all known each other online for many, many, many years. This was our fifth get-together in Kansas--- a central place for us to gather. We had ladies from New Mexico, California, Nevada, Missouri, Kansas, Colorado, and Minnesota this year. We have had others from Oregon, Pennsylvania, Texas, Idaho, and Ohio.
I'm trying to catch up with your posts and wonderful layouts. I'm sorry to hear your ankle/foot is still swollen and sore. I'm praying the healing will be more noticeable very soon.
