There are times when you think you are something and you are not
Like better
I felt so much better at the start of today but by the end of school it felt worse again
But ever determined I figured I had been long enough not driving.
Best friend and hisband both said NO! You can't drive. You won't be able to!
What do they know!!!
Quite a bit it seems.
I can't drive - well not comfortably and safely. It's the wrong ankle action for me completely.
My ankle is also a fab colour - sort of greenish purple and black.
Very fetching and growing all the time. Still it is GOOD that the bruising is coming out.
I have a new page today for the UKS challenge
It was to scrap a piece of clothing etc that was worn by someone in your family.
I couldn't resist taking this picture and scrapping it.
I am known as a bit of a hoarder. Now don't get me wrong. I am not like those hoarders you see on TV where you can't even get in the house. Where there is so much stuff it is not true. My house is spick and span but the lost if pretty full and considering it is a very large family home and there are just we two it is pretty full in every cupboard and we have a LOT of storage.
Anyway, the one thing that epitomises my hoarding - which is largely all sentimental stuff - is my Brownie Uniform.
It was actually my Mom kept it and when I lost my Mom and Dad it was in their loft. It was just too sweet to throw away and now it is a standing joke with friends ..... Oh ask Karen .... she even has her old Brownie uniform.
So it gets it's own space in my scrapbook.
And yes - the little picture is me - in said uniform.
Today I am thankful for
- chocolate - naught naughty naughty
- making my best friend a happy girl
- I guess I ought to be thankful for penguins too
I wish I still had my Brownie dress and the badges! I had to cheat and buy the trefoil and badges online to put in my scrapbook. Good on you for keeping it!
And no more driving, you have to rest whether you like it or not!
