Well, as half term draws to a close I just have to say what a good half term it has been.
I have done the work things I needded to do.
The sun has shone at times ... and it is amazing how restorative that is
We didn't go to Stratford but we did other lovely things - going out into the countryside, visiting Basingstoke.
I scrapped.
I didn't break my ankle - though people keep telling me ton ligaments can take just as long to heal and are equally painful
I am getting better with crutches
The swelling is less.
And I just enjoyed a week at home witht he fella and the fur family.
Life is indeed good.
This is a page for my 'Home Town album'
The Twin sails bridge in Poole is indeed beautiful but has been fraught with so many many problems and has been closed so often.
I still love it and am proud of having such a beautiful - if tempramental - bridge in our home town.
In case you want to read the text
The title for the page is actually the road sign for the new Twin Sails Bridge road.
The pocket holds a reduced size version of the tourist information about the bridge and its design
Today I am thankful for all of the things at the start of this post ... for half term
What a neat way to make the title for your page.
The bridge looks very impressive.
