It's been a busy old saturday today - even though I have only briefly left the desk int he scrap room.
I am starting a scrapbook club and needed to design and make the project and the instructions. I am quite pleased with it and will share it when I have done the photos to go with it and will postt he instructions here too so yo can have a go at making it.
It's a mini book with space for loads of photos and uses a few different techniques I thinkt he girls will like. I am of the opinion you can never have too many mini books. Maybe I should change that view as I do have rather a lot.
Today was weigh day for the cats and we are not doing very well. Fiki - who needs to loose weight, hasn't los an ounce int he last fortnight. Kira, who lost 2lb which she didn't need to has put .3 of a poind back on and Boo, who needs to put weight on and who has been on extra food, has lost a little.
So failure all round really. And our weight - well ... that's another whole issue again. But we are on it.
I haven't photographed today's mini book so here is a project I made a while ago as a guest designer for Mel and Jill at ATDML. I love working for them so much. This project used Graphic 45 halloween products. I don't celebrate Halloween but I did have one picture of three generations messing about when we went up one Autumn when Emily was little.
The rosette border was fun to make - though it is a little lumpy in a pge protector to be honest
Today I am thankful for
- a good day of scrapping doing something I have been putting off for a long time
- Fiki finally venturing to sit on the new sofa - though he doesn't like it and keeps standing in the room looking bewildered as to where his bed has gone.
Oh poor Fiki hope he accepts the new sofa soon and makes it his own. It's such a shame you can't communication to them isn't it, and let them know in advance what you plan to do and perhaps then they wouldn't be so disrupted by it.

Sounds like a good scrapping day. Lovely project. I recommended your blog to some of my croppers who were interested in digi scrapping. Hope they pop by to see you! Lovely layout, jenx

Are your mini books paper or digital? How do you store them if they are paper? I'm looking for ideas. Thank you.

Can't wait to see your project. Is the scrapping club for the kids at school? Do you teach at an all-girls' school? Don't know why I have that impression.
Poor Fiki. I'm sure he'll adjust soon--and as long as he has his snuggly blanket, he will get comfy one of these days :-)
Wish I had Boo's weight problem... LOL!!! I really need to make some good lifestyle changes this year. Wishing you and Nigel good luck as you get back to your best habits :-)
