It wouldn't be Christmas if it didn't come full size and miniature size in our house.
We have two houses to decorate for Christmas, but one is much smaller than the other.
My 1/12th scale doll house gets all glammed up for the holiday season too. It has three Christmas trees dotted around, garlands on the fireplaces, presents under the tree, a wreath on the door and, of course, a full blown Christmas lunch served in the dining room.
The food is absolutely perfect and the people who made it were real craftsmen and artisans. It truly does look good enough to eat and so realistic.
The china ont he tables is goegeous and even the tiny crystal goblets and the crackers add to the realism.
The fruit in the fruit bowl and the stilton on its marble platter is so carefully crafted. I LOVE the dining room at Christmas.
The page was made with new festive goodies and templates by Dawn Inskip and they are all available at her store ay Scrapbookgraphics.
Thank goodness today is Friday - I am incredibly tired and ready for a chilled (not chilly just chilled) weekend.
I hope you all have a super weekend in store. x
Karen, I got a dollhouse (unfinished) for Christmas from my dh in 1973... I never even started on the project although I had furniture, lighting, and roofing ready to go! The unfinished house now lives in my scrapbook room and holds mini albums, photo boxes, and stacks of 8x8 paper :-)
I love your little dining room :-)

Wow. That is just spectacular. My dollhouse (sitting just a few feet away) isn't anywhere near as festive ... the only decorations for Christmas are a wreath & a tree. Hm. Those are stored in the house's attic. Maybe I should get them down!

Karen that is so lovely, I remember it from last year and wanted to be doll size so I could live there. I have loved miniature things since I was a child and would stare for hours at dolls houses and gardens.
