So I guess just a perfect day - and yes, I can hear the Lou Read song in the background too.
We spent today at Hillier Gardens near Romsey. We knew we wanted to go this half term but were not sure which day to go. It seemed nice when we woke up so we figured today was as good as any - and actually I don't think we could have picked a better day. Not a cloud in the sky, wall to wall sunshine and some great colours to enjoy.
I found it hard picking the photos to include in this post, so you have loads. Sean, this is where we went 5 years ago to the very day to celebrate Nigel's birthday and I am sure you will recognise some of the places well.
We had fun on the swings and slides LOL
and we climbed the huge high wall (OK the teeny tiny wall meant for children)
We took daft pictures (look how tall we have grown!)
and lots of close ups
There was a lovely hydrangea walk
And we had a picnic sat on this bench
Today I am thankful for ....
ALL OF THE ABOVE
what a fan dasy doso of a day I love all of your photos especially the fun ones and also all the lovely close ups a day to remember a day full of fun and sunshine. So glad you chose today to do this it is just what the doctor ordered.

The gardens look really brilliant, and the photos are great, with each of the close-ups showing the highlights of autumn, and lots of happy fun memories for you both.
