I was determined to get my album of Versailles complete this week. It wasn't a huge book - pages just a little over 6" x 6" but it seems to have been sat on my desk for a while.
Weloved parts of Versailles so much and so I felt we needed to have more pictures included and it seemed obvious to make a special little book of the visit.
Whilst the palace was opulent and so over the top it wasn't true, it was the Petit Triarnon that moved us so much, along with the grounds and the hamlet and this is the main focus of the little book.
It is very simple - the photos speak for themselves.
I have taken pictures but time has the better of me now so I will share the inside pages tomorrow apart from this double page spread - the first in the book.
It's been very blowy here today so we only ventured out to fetch a Starbucks. It was the last day of the Happy Hour frapps special and so it would have been rude not to. Other than that I have scrapped and we played a few games and ended up laughing so much. I value every single giggle we share. I often say we laugh a lot - and we do. Today we laughed over something so stupid we both ached. THAT'S what life is about isn't it! Shared joy in simple pleasures.
Today I am thankful for
- Laughter - pure and simple.
Now aren't they two gorgeous little Bengal kittens! Oh how I miss that kitten stage. The special smell kittens have and their little rounded tummies. Although that picture is not of Kira and Fiki it could so be them. Oooh I feel broody for kittens. Remind me what a nightmare they are and how I really really can't cope with it all again!
It's gorgeous Dolly. Perfect for someplace like Versailles.

Gorgeous album, Dolly. Loving the pictures, and the stash too. What paper etc did you use?
