It has been back to work properly today - well sort of. I am still only working a two day week at school this week.
Alright for some I hear you say. Actually I am at a conference on Thursday and Friday so it is sort of work (with a fair bit of socialising in there too) I was porrly last night and don't feel well today and have been bitterly cold. Whilst everyone else was dressed for spring I was in a vest, t shirt, thick cardigan and coat all day. Yes - I sat in my office and in a meeting in my coat. I just can't get warm. I couldn't wait to come home and get back into trousers, socks and a thick jumper. And I am still cold.
I have a fun page to share today that I made for the week 2 play along with scrapfactor. As I am oneof the mentors I felt I wanted to know what it felt like to be one of my Team Digi girls so I have been trying to play along with them.
This was my take on the advert challenge. Firstly here is the advert I used as the inspiration.
and this is what I came up with which, now I have printred out for the digital 50th album, I actually thinks looks quite good.
I love doing black and white pages with a pop of colour and Nigel's hat was certainly a pop of colour ont hat picture. In the real colour picture it stood out, but not that well. Making it black and white and using layers where I could deaturate and then leave the original just worked well for this picture.
Today I am thankful for
- socks and coats to be honest
And this second one I so identify with. We call it 'going Dennis' and it is what Fiki does if we ever try to use his harness and lead. He becomes 21 lb (I kid you not) of pure stone and is totally immovable.
Hope you are soon feeling a lot better. Take care of yourself. Val x

Hope you feel better tomorrow, and that you have now warmed up.
Cats hate harnesses they are a free spirit and shouldn't be harnessed. Well that's what they think anyway.
