It's still a bit white here. No snow since yesterday lunchtime but our road is still treacherous. We ventured out to Poole todaya nd it is odd - the snow seemed so much worse just round us. How strange.
Our snowman died - sadly - but we retrieved his eyes and eyebrows so we could rebuild him again if we get more snow.
I have my JYC page today featuring a man in a red suit. I loved seeing Nij dressed up and, inspired by Chicken Soup again I wanted to make another Santa page today.
I am finding it useful to get inspiration from a variety of places for my JYC as it is the fourth time I have done the class and new ideas of what to do are always good.
Thank you ladies for the inspiration for this one.
and he reminded me of the Coke santa and so the page just had to be done.
I have another page to share today - made with another of dawn's awesome templates. They really are so much more than templates.
The photo is of pretty snow at the weekend. What we have left today isn't pretty, just slippery and dirty.
Today I am thankful for
- Going out - and getting back - safely
- Time to scrap and time to relax
Now today I want to share a video a friend sent me which i think is really rather good. There are lots of them out there but this is kind of fun.
I am sorry - I can't make the link without the advert. Apologies.
I think a lot of people have very strong views as to whether or not making the story of the nativity 'current' or not is a good thing or a bad thing. To my way of thinking, the fact we retell it at all and try to keep it at the centre of Christmas is what is important. If making an 'internet' version, a modern retelling or a traditional film make people stop and think about it and focus on it then I think it is a good thing.
I hope you enjoy the clip - I thought it was very clever.
What an amazing video. Thanks for sharing!
Love your pages and how cool that Nigel dresses up!!

This video is so brilliant. I'm crying with laughter at it.
My sister does the nativity at her church and was asked to do traditional this year by her Pastor. Last year she had everyone making the nativity scene out of pipe cleaners! I've sent her the link for this and asked if she'd be brave enough to share it with him!
