It's been a fabulous day today. We headed off early, despite the cold, to Winchester which was hosting our nearest proper christmas market. It was bitterly bitterly cold and to be honest we didn't linger as long as we might have done if we could have felt our extremeties! My reynauds was awful - two white hands that could feel absolutely nothing. I couldn't even punch my credit card pin number in! However, it was well worth the trip. The chalets were beautiful and the crafts wonderful. I have been to craft fairs where I have paid £5 to get in that haven't been as good as Winchester - and totally free. There was an ice rink in the middle and the whole market was nestled in the Cathedral Close. I bet it looked beautiful at night but we were just too cold to stay hours.
A little light shopping in the high street (and a fabulous new coat) and we were off back home. I am now looking forward to our Thanksgiving turkey dinner later and a night snugged up in front of the telly.
Meanwhile this is another new page for my 50th album.
I made the little bingo card and printed it on thick cardstock
and a couple of other close ups.
Lots of detail on the page and a photo I love of the two of us.
My quote today is
Today I am thankful for
-
warmth
-
everything christmassy
We hope to attend a similar market next weekend! The page is wonderful -- how clever of you to print out your own bingo card! GREAT!
