Do you know - I am actually really glad it rained today. I have had a wonderful crafty day and for the first time in 40 days have not done my steps. And do you know what - it feels good now I am over the guilt.
I have made another couple of 5210 pages in readiness and have just finished a cute little mini book thanks to a class - and I have to say a stunning class - by Jemma (jimjams on UKS) to make a mini book with one sheet of paper and one sheet of card. The isntructions were so clear and I loved the class.
I made a little book about Death Valley
The front is nicer than it looks. I used the Tim Holtz die and the support looks like metal thanks to glimmer mists and the sign part hangs and swings. Take my word for it LOl
I had such fun. Thank you Jemma
I have also made a heap of digital pages catching up on DT things and my walks, but i will share them another day.
So here is prompt 40 - and I really really really enjoyed doing this one. It touched my heart LOL - you'll soon see why.
Now do you see why? LOL
Hi Karen,
love your prompts but can't seem to download this one, had problems with 38 aswell couldn't get that one either and I don't want to miss them.

I hadn't realised that the title block was a sign - utterly brilliant. Glad you had fun making the book - your version is gorgeous.

The other day my husband said I am prolific in my scrapbooking "hobby". It is such a love of mine --as yours seems to be.Your prompts have been a way to get even more of my life recorded. Imagine doing 40 layouts! Thank you.

That mini book looks great, I'll try to find that on UKS. Thanks for this great class, I have throughly enjoyed it. It's a shame a few ungrateful bodies can't be bothered to comment as it's very clear that you have put a lot of time and effort into this. I for one am grateful!!.

I didn't even think of doing the class as I don't have the time with others I had already committed to, but a big DOH went off in my head. I can download the prompts now and do it later like I plan on doing some other projects. So off I went and downloaded all 40 of the prompts so far. There's no way I could comment on them all now, but when I start working on the project, you'll be seeing me posting them to my blog and adding your 5210 logo to my side bar. Thank you for having this class available. I look forward to doing it, hopefully at the beginning of next year! :-D

Thank you Karen for a fun prompt.Like you and Nigel, we no longer eat out nearly as much, EXCEPT for coffee and home baking. We judge any place we visit by the quality of its coffee/tea shops so I will be spoiled for choice in this prompt.
Sorry I don't upload my work but I don't have a blog (yet?. I am still grateful to you for all your extra generosity in sharing your passion.

Thanks Karen have downloaded it, had to laugh at your extra challenge as I was eating a cake as I read it. lol I with you for Starbucks though mine is a Mocha and I do succumb to a cinnamon swirl too.

This one made me long for January when I'm going to London. I saw the Starbuck logo on your layout... We don't have Starbucks in Sweden (maybe one at the airport in Stockholm but that's almost a 6 hr drive so it doesn't count). I'm going to visit them everyday when I'm there :-)

Thank you! As a mum with a hubby away with the Navy, I'm afraid my dining out experiences are generally in the 'golden arches'. Not my choice! So not scrapping that! (I do get to go to grown up restaurants, just not very often:(! )

I know what you mean about comments Karen - my blog has suddenly had a load of hits with people coming there to fetch the mini-book instructions (60 people viewing them in the past few days) and just 4 of those people have left a comment!
Still I appreciated the ones that did say thank you - all of whom have come over because of this blog post! So I'd like to say "Thank you" to YOU for spreading the word :o)

In the book 1000 things to do before you die, the two in Singapore are to have a Singapore Sling in Raffles and to eat in a hawker centre - I have done both and some of the best food here is found in these local eateries, where you can eat a fantasic meal, for less than the price of a UK sandwich!!! I will love doing this prompt Karen - thanks again for all your hard work!!!!
