Oh what a lovely lovely feeling. It's Friday, a whole weekend stretches ahead, the sun is shining, I have done my steps, I am the lightest I have ever been (but bet I won't be as I have been a bad bad bad girl today) and I am a happy bunny.
Came home to all the shopping done, the house sparkling like a new pin and I am going to unwind and relax and maybe even scrap.
It was speech day at school today for the seniors and so lovely to see so many juniors who are now elegant young ladies and getting GCSE and A level certificates. The school was again the top school in Dorset, dozens - and I mean dozens - of girls were presented with awards for representing their country and for being national and county champions. They are a talented bunch of lovely students and I am very very proud of where I get to work each day.
So, here is my page for yesterday.
I still can't quite believe they are my hands int hat photo - but they are. Taken in June, I was so brave and I really did think it would help with my arachnaphobia.
Sadly not. yesterday I learnt I am still terrified of the big, fast, hairy house spiders who seem to come in at this time of year. I thinkt hey are more scary than the tarantula. the tarantula was so big and furry that I could convince myself it was a small animal like a gerbil etc.
I also have a card to share - a simple on, as always.
So what have I learnt today
- Children don't really change much when they grow up. You see their potential even when they are little.
- I can do 2500 steps on my daily circuit walk round the local area to school.
- Cream filled doughnuts were not meant to be resisted
My quote for today is
Today I am thankful for
- working in a school where I get to see what my 3 year olds are like when they graduate at 18
You are a brave woman! Shudder!!! Oh, that spider is huge!!
